The hotel was clean and the staff were super friendly and accomodating! The hotel is obviously not new and the heating system is a bit noisy, but there have been some recent renovations. It's clear that the new Owners/Management are working hard to make improvements! We will likely stay again. The super staff outweight any of the negatives.
I sit here writing this because I have been awake since 430am, listening to the hard brakes and accelerations of UPS trucks going up and down York Rd every 30 seconds. They have a distribution center nearby and the windows are do old, I can hear and feel everything. The beds rumble from the noise. I would NEVER stay here again...and my room was free!(using points). I am going to ask for a refund because my stay was ruined. The room was cramped. I could hear neighbors cough in the rooms next door. I am not a light sleeper. Both of us woke up in horrible moods due to the disturbances.
This is one of the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. People yelling and partying all night long, in the parking lot doing drugs and fighting...police finally showed up. Management did NOTHING to quiet the unruly guests. Bathtub/shower was filthy, room had an odor. The WORST HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS EVER!!
Very nice and clean. Breakfast was good as well, not your normal hotel breakfast. They had a complete breakfast bar. Really enjoyed staying there. Staff was really friendly too.
Didn't have to wait for room. Everything was ready and took care of our needs. Breakfast was very good as well.
