On July 1st, I brought my in-laws to the Cockeysville T-mobile store to add them to our group plan. Since they needed new phones, I recommended they buy the phones that the Cockeysville T-mobile store was running a 2-for-1 special on, since the regular price was almost $500/each.
Here it is almost 3 months later and No Call Back from the Cockeysville Store Manager, and No Rebate Card!!
T-Mobile is the best come and visit this stop
Since I always seemed to have more luck with the 611 Customer Service Dept, I contacted them. Just like always, the CS Rep asked me to provide some ID info and was able to pull up my group account. Guess what?!?! The Idiot who rang up my in-laws' 2-for-1 phones Did Not Submit the request for the $500 rebate!!
I went to your T-mobile store and was going to buy the Galaxy 8 with wallet in hand. I asked the sales agent what AOC was as it was listed on their advertisement in the store. He said I'm not sure... After a few moments of watching this person looking back at me with a dazed and confused look; the deer in headlights look... I said okay while you find out the answer, I'll wait here. They went off, never to be seen again. I asked the next sales agent the same question, they knew nothing about this but did provide a very useless answer that C stands for credit... wow... thanks as this was very helpful. This agent proceeded to say that he needed to go to the bathroom...okay.. thanks for the info and he disappeared in the giant black hole. I proceeded to disappear from the store...never to return again. Customer Service sucks and they clearly don't want your business. Go elsewhere as I literally wanted a phone and could not find anyone who wanted to provide anything that resembled help. I saw that most of the help was hiding in the back and those that decided to show their face were as useless as a pet rock.
We were told that we should expect the $500 rebate card to arrive within two(2) months. At 1.5 months in, I called the Cockeysville T-mobile store to see if I could get the status of the rebate card. The guy who answered said that since he couldn't verify who I was, even though I offered every bit of identifying information to prove I was who I was saying I was, he said he wasn't able to provide me ANY information on my T-mobile group account. The only way he could assist me was if I were to come into the store. Totally inconvenient!! Why is it that I'm able to contact their Customer Service Dept. by simply dialing 611 from my mobile phone, provide additional ID information, and the CS Rep, located somewhere in the country, is able to assist me?
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They always know how to help.
Therefore, I asked for the Store Manager, but apparently, he had left for the day, even though it was the middle of a freakin' week day!! The guy then said he will have the Store Manager call me when he came in the next day. Did I get a phone call from the Store Manager the next day?! No!! Two days later, I called the Cockeysville T-mobile store again and asked for the Manager. This time, a girl answered and said that no Store Manager was going to be at the store that day. Are you kidding me?! I've worked in Retail before, and some sort of Manager has to always be preset during business hours.
Helpful staff. Had one issue though that cause a payment to be lost. Took a couple of weeks to fix it.
