A great place to hike and enjoy nature. My son has been coming here for years and now we bring my granddaughter. She loves the freedom of walking through the meadow, seeing the fowl and riding in a backpack for hikes.
This is such a beautiful place to come just to walk around. I had some photos taken while I was there. My kids enjoyed coming here also, they love exploring (they're a bit older) & this place is perfect for doing that.
Used to love the place until they ruined tons of trees with paint for recovering addicts. Nice sentiment but NOT the place for it. I don't take my kids hiking to see trashed nature and be reminded of drug addicts.
I love Oregon Ridge. Loads of great trails. A variety of critters that are with the nature center. Symphony does summer shows. Community dinner theater. Wonderful respite from the city.
Fantastic trails. Definitely not for beginners due to rustic trails, steep hills, narrow paths and no on trail facilities.
